Abstract: INFORMATION ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMICS OF THESE SEGMENTS OF THE PRIMARY PRODUCER LEVEL IN HAWAII IS LACKING IN FMPS FOR THE WESTERN PACIFIC REGION. RESULTS WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO FMPS ON BILLFISH AND BOTTOM FISH, AS WELL AS INTO ONGOING ECONOMIC ANALYSES OF THE FRESH FISH AND TUNA INDUSTRIES. THE ONE-YEAR SURVEY WILL BEGIN IN FEBRUARY 1982.
