Abstract: INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SURVEY WILL HELP STAFF TO ASCERTAIN THE EXTENT TO WHICH MONEY MARKET FUNDS SHARES ARE USED FOR TRANSACTION PURPOSES. SURVEY DATA WILL BE USED TO ASSES THE DEGREE TO WHICH FUNDS HAVE SHIFTED FROM M1 ACCOUNTS TO MMF ACCOUNTS AND WILL HELP EXPLAIN SOME OF THE RECENT MOVEMENTS IN THE MONETARY AGGREGATES.
