Abstract: FORM 4745 - QUESTIONNAIRE, INTEREST EXPENSES - WAS DEVELOPED IN ORDER TO REQUEST SPECIFIC INFORMATION THAT IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE IF THE AMOUNT OF INTEREST EXPENSE CLAIMED AS A DEDUCTION HAS BEEN CORRECTLY DETERMINED. IT EDUCATES THE TAXPAYER ON HOW TO MAKE THE CALCULATION AND IT ELIMINATES A NEED FOR A TAXPAYER TO HAVE TO PRESENT THE INFORMATION IN PERSON.
