Abstract: THE PERMITTEE MUST REPORT PLANNED ALTERATIONS AND CHANGES TO THE PERMITTED FACILITY TO THE NPDES PERMITTING AUTHORITY. THIS INFORMATIO WILL BE USED BY THE PERMITTING AUTHORITY TO DETERMINE IF THE PHYSICAL CHANGES NECESSITATE A PERMIT MODIFICATION WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE PERMITTEE TO AVOID NONCOMPLIANCE.
