Abstract: EPA SENDS SAMPLES OF AIR MONITORING AGENCIES FOR ANALYSES. THE RESULT ARE REPORTED ON THESE STANDARD FORMS. EPA COMPARES THE REPORTED RESUL WITH THE TRUE CONCENTRATIONS AND EVALUATES THE ACCURACY OF MONITORING DATA BEING REPORTED TO EPA. WHEN DATA INDICATES DEFICIENCIES, EPA DIRECTS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO IMPROVE MONITORING CAPABILITIES.
