Abstract: THE PART 205 INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS WERE ADOPTED IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC'S RIGHT TO RECOVER FOR LOSSES INCURRED IN ACCIDENTS IN WHICH AIR CARRIERS ARE INVOLVED. FORM 205-A WILL BE USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH THOSE REQUIREMENTS.
