Abstract: UNDER SECTION 332 OF THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930, THE USITC HAS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE FACT-FINDING REPORTS ON ISSUES AFFECTING U.S. TRADE POSITION. DATA COLLECTED THROUGH THE QUESTIONNAIRE HAVE BEEN REQUESTED BY THE HOUSE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE SO THAT PROFILES OF THE U.S. PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS INDUSTRY AND OF BASE MATERIAL LAMINATES CAN BE EVALUATED AND COMPARED WITH THAT OF CANADA, JAPAN, AND EUROPE.
