Abstract: THE SFSP REGULATIONS IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF P.L. 97-35 AND 96-499 THE MAINTENANCE OF THE REQUIRED RECORDS MUST SUPPORT PAYMENTS, JUSTIFY ALL COSTS AND MEALS CLAIMED, IDENTIFY HEARING PROCEDURES, REVIEWS, APPEALS, ACCOUNTING RECORDS AND FAMILY-SIZE AND INCOME DOCUMENTATION. THESE RECORDS MUST BE MAINTAINED FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS OR LONGER IF AN AUDIT IS IN PROCESS.
