Abstract: INFORMATION WILL BE DIRECTLY USED IN WRITING THE NATIONAL FOREST PLANS CONCERNED WITH THE BOB MARSHALL WILDERNESS AS REQUIRED BY THE NATINAL FOREST MANAGEMENT ACT. THE NFMA REQUIRES THAT INFORMATION ON RECREATION USED AND CHARACTERISTICS BE USED IN DEVELOPING THE FOREST PLANS AND TO EVALUATE THEIR EFFECTIVENESS.
