Abstract: THE ACT OF DECEMBER 15, L971, AS AMENDED, ALLOWS ADOPTERS TO APPLY FOR TITLES OF OWNERSHIP TO WILD HORSES AND BURROS AFTER THEY HAVE PROPERLY MAINTAINED SUCH ANIMALS FOR 1 YEAR. THE ADOPTER MUST SUBMIT A CERTIFICATION FROM A VETERINARIAN THAT THE ANIMALS APPEAR TO BE IN GOO CONDITION AND PROPERLY MAINTAINED. THE AUTHORIZED OFFICER REVIEWS THE CERTIFICATIONS FOR APPROVAL TO ISSUE TITLES.
