Abstract: THE GEOTHERMAL RESOURCE REGULATIONS WERE PROMULGATED TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THE GEOTHERMAL STEAM ACT, FOR THE PURPOSES OF PROVIDING PROCEDURES AND ESTABLISHING RIGHTS TO DEVELOP AND UTILIZE GEOTHERMAL RESOURCES ON THE FEDERAL LANDS. THIS PROPOSED RULEMAKING CONTAINS INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS, A "NOTICE OF INTENT..." FORM, A BOND FORM, A FORM FOR AN ASSIGNMENT OF A GEOTHERMAL RESOURCES LEASE, A A FORM FOR A COMPETITIVE OIL AND GAS GEOTHERMAL LEASE BID.
