Abstract: REQUEST FOR ADVANCE OR REIMBURSEMENT, STANDARD FORM 270, IS NECESSARY TO ASSIST THE URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION (UMTA) IN MONITORING DISBURSEMENTS MADE TO A GRANTEE AND THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF A GRANTEE. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED BY UMTA TO DETERMINE THAT THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS REQUESTED BY THE GRANTEE IS CORRECT AND PROPER FOR PAYMENT.
