Abstract: THE ENDOWMENT'S 1980 REAUTHORIZATION ACT REQUIRES IT TO CONDUCT AND REPORT ON A STUDY OF ITS USE OF TREASURY (MATCHING) FUNDS IN GRANT-MAKING. THE PROPOSED SURVEY OF MATCHING GRANT PROJECT DIRECTORS TO BE MAILED IN MAY 1982, WILL INFORM THE CONGRESS AND NEH ABOUT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MATCHING GRANTS.
