Abstract: IN SEPTEMBER 1980 THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTED A REPORT FLOOD HAZARD MITIGATION, TO 1000 PERSONS WITH INTEREST IN FLOODING. TH NSF WISHES TO SOLICIT THE RECIPIENT'S VIEWPOINTS ANONYMOUSLY, TO ESTABLISH WEIGHTED PRIORITIES FOR THE RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED IN THE REPORT. THE PRIORITIES WILL GUIDE FUTURE PROGRAM PLANNING AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION.
