Abstract: THIS REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION ON OVERNIGHT EURODOLLAR DEPOSITS HELD BE MONEY MARKET MUTUAL FUNDS AT FOREIGN BRANCHES OF U.S. DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS. THESE DATA ARE USED BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS IN COMPONENTS OF THE MONETARY AGGREGATES (M2 AND M3) TO PREVENT DOUBLE COUNTING OF THESE DEPOSITS IN THE AGGREGATES.
