Abstract: NOTIFICATION PROVISIONS ALERT EPA TO SOURCES SUBJECT TO NEW SOURCE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. EPA DOES NOT POSSESS THE MEANS TO DISCOVER THESE SOURCES WITHOUT THE NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. SOURCES MUST PROVIDE NOTIFICATION FOR COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION, ANTICIPATED AND ACTUAL STARTUP, CONTINUOUS MONITORING PERFORMANCE DEMONSTRATION DATE, AND DATE OF PERFORMANCE TEST.
