Abstract: PARTICIPANTS IN HUD HOUSING PROGRAMS ARE REQUIRED TO FURNISH INFORMATION CONCERNING RACE/ETHNICITY AND SEX IDENTIFICATION, AS NECESSARY, TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT IN CARRYING OUT ITS RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSURING THAT FEDERAL STATUTES THAT PROHIBIT DESCRIMINATION AND PROVIDING FOR FAIR HOUSING ARE MET IN HUD INSURED HOUSING PROGRAMS.
