Abstract: THE CASE REVIEW SYSTEM WHICH IS REQUIRED BY SECTION 475(5)(A) OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT AS AMENDED BY P.L. 96-272 MANDATES THAT EACH STATE AGENCY WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOSTER CARE PROGRAM ASSURES THAT EACH CHILD HAS A CASE PLAN AND THAT THE PLAN IS REVIEWED PERIODICALLY TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATENESS OF THE PLACEMENT, ETC.
