Abstract: THIS PROJECT WILL GENERATE DATA TO BE USED IN THE SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REPORT TO CONGRESS DUE OCTOBER 1, 1983, ON THE OPERATION OF P.L. 96-272, THE "ADOPTION ASSISTANCE AND CHILD WELFARE ACT OF 1980." THE PROJECT WILL ALSO ASSIST STUDY STATES IN EVALUATING THEIR VOLUNTARY PLACEMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
