Abstract: THE 1981 BUDGET RECONCILIATION ACT CONTAINS A PROVISION WHICH CONCERTS THE FOOD STAMP PROGRAM IN PUERTO RICO TO A NUTRITIONAL ASSISTANCE GRAN BECAUSE THE PUERTO RICAN PARTICIPANTS WILL BE LEAVING THE PROGRAM, THE WILL BE A CORRESPONDING DECREASE IN THE NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLDS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE MODEL FOOD STAMP FORMS.
