Abstract: SECTION 1362 OF THE NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE ACT OF 1968 (PL 90-488) AS AMENDED (42 USC 4103) AUTHORIZES FEMA TO PURCHASE SEVERELYY OR REPEATEDLY DAMAGED INSURED PROPERTIES TO REDUCE FUTURE FEDERAL DISASTE RELATED EXPENDITURES. SINCE A LIMITED BUDGET IS APPROPRIATED ANNUALLY THESE FORMS WILL BE USED TO COLLECT DATA WHICH WILL BE USED TO DETERMI ELIGIBILITY, FUNDING PRIORITIES, AND COST EFFECTIVENESS.
