Abstract: THE UNIFORM SYSTEM OF ACCOUNTS IS THE PRESCRIBED SYSTEM THAT A CARRIER UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE ICC MUST FOLLOW TO ACCOUNT FOR THEIR FINANCIAL, OPERATING, AND EQUIPMENT TRANSACTIONS AND RECORDS. THESE PRESCRIBED RECORDS ARE USED BY THE ICC IN AUDITS AND INVESTIGATIONS OF CARRIERS.
