Abstract: THE ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT STAFF, USDA, HAS BEEN DELEGATED AUTHORITY TO RATE AND CERTIFY APPLICANTS FOR AGRICULTURAL STATISTICIAN POSITIONS BY THE OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT. THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS STATEMENT ELICITS THE INFORMATION NEEDED FROM JOB APPLICANTS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR QUALIFICATIONS ARE ACCURATELY EVALUATED.
