Abstract: SECTION 4 OF THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT (CNA) OF 1966 (P.L. 89-642), AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZES THE SCHOOL, BREAKFAST PROGRAM. THE REGULATIONS SUBMITTED WITH THIS PROPOSAL SET FORTH: (A) POLICIES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROGRAM BY STATE AGENCIES AND FOR ITS OPERATION BY LOCAL SCHOOL AUTHORITIES, AND (B) RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO DOCUMENT PROGRAM COMPLIANCE.
