Abstract: THE FOUNDATION'S SCIENTISTS, ENGINEERS AND OTHER OFFICIALS EVALUATE AL PROPOSALS SUBMITTED TO THE AGENCY. TO ASSIST THEM IN THE EVALUATION PROCESS, THE FOUNDATION OBTAINS THE ADVICE OF SCIENTISTS AND OTHERS WH ARE SPECIALIST IN THE FIELDS COVERED IN THE PROPOSALS. ASSISTANCE IS OBTAINED THROUGH MAIL-REVIEW AND ASSEMBLED PANELS.
