Under
regulations which will govern FFederal information requirement
prior to the end of 1983, all information requirements promulgated
through regulations will be considered subject to clearance under
the Paperwork Reduction Act. Consequently this clearance action
covers all information requirements identified in the Departments
12/20/82 clearance request. The Administrative Committee for
Marketing Order No. 966 may chose between printing the OMB
clearance number on all of its forms irrespective of the number of
estimated respondents or providing information on "exempt" forms
which informs respondents that the form(s) is exempt and the reason
for the exemption. If the option of printing the clearance number
on all forms is not chosen, explicit provisions of the Paperwork
Reduction Act require adoption of the second option. The language
of the statute is absolute in respect to this matter.
