Abstract: THIS STUDY WILL ASSESS THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING MEASURES OF THE CURRENT STOCK, UTILIZATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTRUMENTATION IN DOCTORATE-GRANTING INSTITUTIONS AND INDEPENDENT MEDICAL SCHOOLS. THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH INDICATORS IS REQUISITE TO ASSESSING THE STATUS OF AND NEED FOR EQUIPMENT IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FIELDS.
