THIS CASE REPORT WILL PROVIDE
SURVEILLANCE DATA ON THE EXTENT AND TREN OF CONGENITAL SYPHILIS
(UNDER ONE YEAR OF AGE) IN THE U.S. IT WILL SERVE AS AN
EPIDEMIOLOGICAL AID IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND FOLLOWUP OF CASES AND WILL
PROVIDE LOCAL AREAS WITH A STANDARDIZED COLLECTION METHOD TO ASSURE
ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS OF EARLY CONGENITAL SYPHILIS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
