Abstract: FACILITIES INTENDING TO DISCHARGE ANY POLLUTANT INTO NATIONAL WATERS MUST OBTAIN AN NPDES PERMIT. APPLICANTS SUBMIT THE FORM TO THE PERMIT AUTHORITY, DESCRIBING THE FACILITY LOCATION, RECEIVING WATERS AND NATURE OF THE DISCHARGE. THE PERMIT AUTHORITY APPROVES/DISAPPROVES THE APPLICATION AND SETS PERMIT CONDITIONS.
