Abstract: FACILITES INTENDING TO DISCHARGE ANY POLLUTANT INTO NATIONAL WATERS MUST OBTAIN AN NPDES PERMIT. APPLICANTS SUBMIT THE APPROPRIATE FORM TO THE PERMIT AUTHORITY, DESCRIBING THE FACILITY LOCATION, RECEIVING WATERS AND DISCHARGE. THE PERMIT AUTHORITY APPROVES/DISAPPROVES THE APPLICATION AND SETS PERMIT CONDITIONS.
