Terms of Clearance: HHS SHALL SECURE OMB CLEARANCE OF ANY FUTURE YOUTH FITNESS DATA COLLEC TION ACTIVITY PRIOR TO THE OBLIGATION OF FUNDS. IN ADDITION, THE PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES SURVEY SHOULD BE AMENDED TO INCLUDE A STATEMENT TH THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS VOLUNTARY, WHY THE DATA IS BEING COLLECTE AND HOW THE DATA WILL BE USED. THE SPONSOR SHOULD BE INSTRUCTED TO INFORM STUDENT RESPONDENTS THAT PARTICIPATION IN THE STUDY IS VOLUNTAR AND DEPENDENT ON PARENTAL CONSENT. THE PILOT TEST SHOULD REQUEST RESPONDENTS TO INDICATE THE LENGTH OF TIME IT TOOK EACH TO COMPLETE TH PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES SURVEY AND THE FITNESS TEST.

Abstract: THIS IS A PILOT TEST OF A STUDY TO ASSESS THE FITNESS LEVELS OF AMERIC SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO USE SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY PHYSICAL FITNESS AND EXERCISE PROGRAMS AND TO DETERMINE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAMS AND MEASURED LEVELS OF FITNESS.
