Abstract: THE 1984 NHIS WILL COLLECT DATA ON THE UTILIZATION OF HEALTH SERVICES, THE MAGNITUDE AND DISTRIBUTION OF ILLNESS AND THE EFFECTS OF ILLNESS IN THE U.S. POPULATION. IN ADDITION, A "SUPPLEMENT ON AGING" WILL BE ASKED OF PERSONS 55 AND OVER. THIS REQUEST IS FOR THE FIRST OF TWO PRETESTS.
