Abstract: THE MEDICARE HOME OFFICE COST STATEMENT PROVIDES FOR THE DETERMINATION OF REASONABLE COST OF HOME OFFICES OF CHAIN ORGANIZATIONS AND THE ALLOCATION OF THOSE COSTS TO THE COMPONENTS OF THE CHAIN IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH A PROPER BASIS FOR MEDICARE REIMBURSEMENT.
