HOWEVER, ANY SUBSEQUENT REQUEST FOR CLEARENCE MUST COMPORT WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1) HUD EXPLORE A SINGLE UNIFORM REPORTING REQUIREMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER AFFECTED AGENCIES UTILIZING THE URA INTERAGENCY WORKING GROUP AS THE MECHANISM FOR DEVELOPING THE REVISED REPORTING REQUIREMENT. 2) THE FORMAT SHOULD BE SIMPLE, AS WELL AS STANDARDIZED, TO THE EXTENT PRACTICAL. 3) ANY REQUEST FOR AGENCY VARIANCES FROM THE MODEL REPORTING REQUIREMENT BE DOCUMENTED AND BASED ON EXPLICIT STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. IN ADDITION, HUD MUST PROVIDE OMB WITH A STATUS REPORT THAT CONTAINS MILESTONES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE UNIFORM REPORTING REQUIREMENT BY AUGUST 30,1983.
