Abstract: THIS IS A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF THE RANDOM DIGIT DIALING (RDD) METHOD FOR USE AS A SUPPLEMENT TO THE LIST FRAME SAMPLE IN THE MONTHLY RETAIL TRADE REPORT. THE BASIC QUESTION IS WHETHER RDD CAN REPLACE TH AREA FRAME SAMPLE CURRENTLY USED TO SUPPLEMENT THE LIST FRAME.
