BANK HOLDING COMPANIES NOW PROVIDE FOR DISCLOSURE ABOUT
NONPERFORMING LOANS AND FOREIGN LOANS. THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
WOULD REVISE THESE GUIDELINES TO FOCUS MORE BROADL ON VARIOUS
ELEMENTS OF THE LOAN PORTFOLIO WHICH MAY INDICATE UNUSUAL BANKING
RISKS AND TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL DISAGGREGATED DISCLOSURES ABOUT
FOREIGN LOANS.
