Approval is
granted through March 1984 for information collections required by
the Defense Acquisition Regulation (DAR) system. This approval
extends to information collections in solicitations and contracts
now in place as well as to new solicitations issued and contracts
entered into as a result of those solicitations. This clearance is
for information collections required by the Defense Acquisition
Regulation (DAR) System, including the DAR itself, and such other
regulations, directives, instructions, and procedures as may be
issued by the Military Services and Defense Agencies that
implement/supplement the DAR. Clearance is granted with the
understanding that the Department of Defense will submit a separate
proposal for information collections in the DOD supplement to the
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), including such other
regulations, directives, instructions and procedures as may be
issued by the Military Services and Defense Agencies, in time for
the April 1, 1984 FAR implementation date. That proposal will
include a schedule for the submission of requests for OMB review
for each information collection included in th DOD FAR Supplement
and the Military Service/Defense Agency issuances.
