Abstract: FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT INSPECTION NEEDS VARY WITH THE TYPE OF EQUIPMEN USE, ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE, AND MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. INSPECTIONS ARE NECESSARY TO ASSURE PROTECTION INTENDED WHEN THE NEED ARISES. THE EQUIPMENT INVOLVED INCLUDES FIREFIGHTING TRUCKS, HOSES, HYDRANTS, FITTINGS, EXTINGUISHERS, SPRINKLERS, ETC.
