FACILITIES STORING OIL IN EXCESS OF
SPECIFIED AMOUNTS MUST MAINTAIN A SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND
COUNTERMEASURE PLAN. FACILITIES EXPERIENCING ONE OIL SPILL 1,000
GALLONS OR TWO SPILLS OF ANY SIZE TO NAVIGABLE WATERS WITHIN 12
MONTHS MUST SEND THEIR SPCC PLAN TO EPA FOR REVIEW. NEW PLANS MUST
DEVELOP SPCC PLANS. FACILITIES WITH PLANS MUST REVIEW THEM EVERY
THREE YEARS.
