Abstract: EPA IS SURVEYING THE PLASTICS MOLDING AND FORMING INDUSTRY TO OBTAIN DETAILED TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON: (1) TYPES OF PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED, (2) PRODUCTION PROCESSES EMPLOYED, (3) AMOUNT OF WATER USED, (4) WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES, (5) WASTEWATER CHARACTERISTICS, AND (6) COSTS. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP WASTEWATER EFFLUEN LIMITATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR THE INDUSTRY.
