Abstract: TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR CAPABILITY FOR MANAGING THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT CONSTRUCTION GRANT PROGRAM, STATES PROVIDE EPA WITH INFORMATION AND A SCHEDULE FOR ASSUMING RESPONIBILITY FOR THIS PROGRAM. THE AGENCY USES THIS DATA IN ITS DECISION TO GRANT STATES THIS MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY AND TO MAINTAIN FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND MANAGEMENT OVERVIEW OF STATE REVIEW ACTVITIES.
