Abstract: THIS FORM IS THE MEANS OF COLLECTING INFORMATION ON WHICH TO BASE A DECISION TO GRANT USE OF THE FEDERAL LANDS FOR THE PURPOSES REQUESTED. THE ALASKA NATIONAL INTEREST LANDS CONSERVATION ACT REQUIRES THIS FORM TO BE USED IN APPLYING FOR USE OF FEDERAL LANDS WITHIN THE CONSERVATION AREAS OF ALASKA. THE FORM IS ALSO USED AS THE DIRECTOR'S APPROVED FORM FOR APPLYING FOR USE OF FEDERAL LANDS.
