Abstract: PRODUCTION ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING SYSTEM INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE DATA ON PRODUCTION AND DISPOSITION OF OIL AND GA FROM FEDERAL ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE AND INDIAN LEASES. THE DATA WILL BE USED TO MONITOR PRODUCTION, TO CHECK REPORTED DISTRIBUTION AGAINST ROYALTY PAID, AND FOR AUDITS. LEASE AND GAS PLANT OPERATORS AND PURCHASERS ARE AFFECTED.
