Abstract: SECTION 76.29 OF THE RULES WAS ADOPTED TO PERMIT ADDITIONAL FLEXIBILITY AS WELL AS PROCEDURAL SPECIFICITY IN APPLYING FOR SPECIAL DEVIATIONS FROM THE RULES IN SITUATIONS REQUIRING TEMPORARY AND IMMEDIATE ACTION THAT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE UNDER THE MORE EXTENDED PLEADING REQUIREMENT OF THE GENERAL RULES. THE INFORMATION IS USED TO TO DETERMINE IT IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST TO GRANT REQUESTS.
