GAO RECOMMENDED THAT THE SELECTIVE SERVICE SYSTEM CONDUCT A SURVEY OF REGISTRANTS FROM THE SSS DATA BASE TO SEE WHAT PERCENTAGE OF REGISTRAN HAD ACCURATE DATA IN THEIR FILE. THIS REQUEST FOR EXTENSION IS NEEDED SO THAT SSS CAN RESPOND SHOULD GAO FURTHER ADVISE UPON REVIEW OF SURVE RESULTS.
