Abstract: THE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT SBA TO DUPLICATE ASSISTANCE RELATED TO DISASTER LOSSES SUPPLIED BY OTHER FEDERAL SOURCES OR THE PRIVATE SECTOR (E.G., INSURANCE). THE REQUIREMENT PROVIDES THAT ANY AMOUNTS RECEIVED SUBSEQUENT TO AN SBA LOAN THAT ARE A DUPLICATION OF BENEFITS ARE TO BE REPORTED TO SBA AND APPLIED TO THE SBA LOAN BALANCE.
