THIS PROSPECTIVE STUDY FO DAILY URINE SPECIMENS FROM 300 NON CONTRACEPTING WOMEN WILL ESTIMATE THE RISK OF EARLY PREGNANCY LOSS ASSOCIATED WITH COMMON EXPOSURES SUCH AS USE OF ALCOHOL, MEDICATIONS, TOBACCO OR CAFFEINE BEVERAGES. NEW METHODS DEVELOPED FOR THIS STUDY WILL BE USED FOR OTHER STUDIES OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES. STUD WILL BEGIN IN 1983 AND WILL BE COMPLETED IN 24 MONTHS.
