Abstract: THE NATIONWIDE VULNERABILITY SURVEY WILL IDENTIFY HEALTH PROGRAM VULNERABILITIES TO FRAUD AND ABUSE THAT CONTRIBUTE TO ESCALATING HEALTH CARE COSTS. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP AND SHARE EFFECTIVE COMPUTER BASED REMEDIES FOR THESE VULNERABILITIES AMONG HEALTH CARE PAYERS. THE RESPONDENTS INCLUDE FEDERAL AGENCIES/CONTRACTORS, STATE AGENCIES AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS.
