Abstract: IRC SECTION 934 WAS ENACTED TO PREVENT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS FROM GRANTING TAX REBATES WITH REGARD TO TAXES ATTRIBUTABLE TO INCOME DERIVED FROM SOURCES WITHIN THE U.S. HOWEVER, EXECPTION CAN BE BE TAKEN BY FILING A STATEMENT WITH THE VIRGIN ISLAND GOVERNMENT AS PRESCRIBED IN 1.934.1(B). THIS STATEMENT MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION BY THE DIRECTOR OF INTERINATIONAL OPERATIONS.
