Abstract: THE CURRENT CONGRESSIONAL AUTHORIZATION BILL FOR HUD'S 1984 BUDGET REQUIRES THE DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT A DEMONSTRATION STUDY OF FHA INSURANCE OF ADJUSTABLE RATE MORTGAGES. THIS SURVEY WILL COMPLEMENT A SIMILAR SURVEY PERFORMED BY THE FHLBB BY COVERING COMMERCIAL BANKS AND MORTGAGE COMPANIES, AND REALTORS.
